NATUREX is a worldwide company (1000 employees and a €260 million turnover) specialized in natural ingredients for food industries, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. With 15% of the staff involved in R&D, the Group developed more than 3000 innovative products. To assist its growth, NATUREX is now looking for the Quality-Assurance and Quality-Control Manager of its Birmingham plant dedicated to the production of coloring agents.

THE POSITION

The Quality-Assurance and Quality-Control Manager is in charge of:

The Food Security Management

·         BRC and ISO 9001 Certification,

·         Internal audit for hygiene and GMP,

·         HACCP system control.

The Product Certification :

·         Planning and management of on-site audits

·         Control and certification for Halal and Kosher production

The Customer Quality Assurance :

·         Answers to customers’ complains

·         Preparation and participation to the customers’ audits

The Quality Control Laboratory Management:

·            Management of a 5 persons staff

·            Release of raw materials and finish products batches

·            Supervision of analytical means

·            Administration of the laboratory documentary system

The position is based in the UK  with a working contract following the British Social law.

This manager reports to the Group Scientific Director but most of all works closely with the Plant Director and the Group Assurance Quality Director.

 THE PROFIL

-          Engineer graduated or equivalent in Food technologies or Chemistry with first experience in Quality or Control Assurance including team management,

-          English speaking,

-          Relationship skills, with good understanding of industrial constraints and sense of customers
