THE COMPANY
Created in early 2000’s, this French Group with a 700 employees staff launched a wide range of dairy and fruit desserts all around the world. The Company constantly invests in consumer research and products development to bring innovations that meet consumers’ expectations. In order to sustain a heavy demand and especially from the US market where new ranges of products like pouch desserts are incredibly popular, the Group strengthens its industrial department and creates the role of Group Building Projects Manager.
THE POSITION
The Group Building Projects Manager is in charge of implementing and following up the industrial investments programs for the different production plants; he is particularly responsible of the strategic projects of pouch desserts development at an international level.
Reporting to the Group Industrial Manager, the position will be based in France or in the US.
The most important missions of the Group Building Project Manager are :
- Coordinating industrial investments for new products line,
- Supervising investments all along their implementation phases focusing on staff and equipment safety
- Negotiating and following up purchases of equipment and services
- Setting and following up progress and improvement procedures
The job includes frequent travelling to the Group facilities in France or in the US. The work contract may be American or French depending on the country the incumbent will be based in.
THE PROFILE
- Superior technical background,
- Ten years experience in similar positions in the food industry
- Fluent in English,
- Experience in transverse project management, including civil engineering and requirements drawing-up
- Strong skills in project teams management
