As Senior Application Specialists at Kerry Ingredients and Flavours you are responsible for technical support to the EMEA sales organisation and managing customer projects in the field of texture and flavour ingredients, location Almere.

Position

• Responsible for technical support to the EMEA sales organisation and managing customer projects in the field of texture and flavour ingredients
• Understanding the technical needs of the customers and capable of translating this into the right ingredient offerings, with focus on ingredients mixes
• Supporting the sales team at the customer by presenting, implementing and auditing technical product solutions
• For the Dairy segment: building relevant expertise for various dairy applications, especially in recombined dairy products, dairy analogues and desserts
• For the Ice Cream segment: building relevant expertise for various ice cream applications, from take home ice cream to ice cream desserts
• Visiting international seminars and exhibitions and maintaining external relations with dairy and/or ice cream experts from universities and R&D institutes 
• Reporting to the Application Director Dairy.  

Profile

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Food Technology or equivalent
• Senior work experience in new product and application development in the dairy and/or ice cream business
• Preferably familiar with relevant Kerry ingredients (like hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, proteins and enzymes) and functional ingredient systems
• Comfortable working in a challenging and international business environment with frequent travelling (± 30-40% of time)
• Strong communication skills, with fluent English and preferably a good command of other languages     
• Personal skills: self starter, innovative, problem solving, customer and results oriented, convincing, pragmatic attitude and team player.
