A – THE COMPANY

With 1000 employees and a € 260 million annual turnover, NATUREX belongs nowadays to the worldwide leaders of its sector. Years after years, they have developed an outstanding growth. The Company manages industrial plants and sales offices all over the world and manufactures natural ingredients for food, beverage, nutrition, health, and personal care. In order to sustain its growth, the Company just acquired a new plant of food ingredients and creates the position of Purchasing Manager, Responsible of the natural raw materials channel.

B – THE POSITION

Reporting to the Plant Director and the Purchasing & Supply Chain Director of the Group, you will provide a classic function of Purchaser covering general purchases such consumables, energy, services, equipment. Moreover, you will act as an interface with the agricultural environment in order to allow the supply of raw materials in terms of quality and quantity. You will create and develop partnerships with local farmers and follow them in a sustainable way to achieve some crops projects. You will suggest and apply plans in order to improve the QCT (quality, cost, time) level.

You will be responsible for:

-       The definition and the implementation of the purchasing strategy for the overall needs of the plant

-       The annual purchasing budget steering

-       The identification, assessment and contracting with new farmers as partners

-       The follow up of the crops

-       The supply optimization based on the needs or specificities of the plant

-       The regular reporting to the hierarchy

C - THE PROFILE

-          Educational background in food technology

-           First experience as a Purchaser of agricultural products (fruits, vegetables, seeds…)   

-          Fluent in Polish. Fluent in English or French

-      Involved and adaptable

-      Concrete, pragmatic, autonomous and results oriented
