As Projectleader Food Safety at PepsiCo, you are responsible for all food safety topics, such as implementing, ensuring compliance with, and continuously improving PepsiCo’s overall program Consumer Risk Protection (CRP), location Zaandam (The Netherlands).

In order to further strengthen the Quality & Food Safety team at the European leading nuts and peanuts plant in Zaandam, we are currently searching for a highly skilled Projectleader Food Safety.
Position
- Responsible for all food safety topics, such as implementing, ensuring compliance with, and continuously improving PepsiCo’s overall program Consumer Risk Protection (CRP)
- Implementing global food safety Standards and providing expertise in microbiological, chemical and physical food safety and allergens
- Initiating, coordinating, participating in and evaluating of food safety improvement projects
- Delivering food safety knowledge and instructions to (production related) colleagues in the plant
- Conducting, reporting and evaluating food safety related audits
- Building and maintaining a range of internal and external networks to ensure up-to-date understanding of expertise
- Reporting to and substituting the Quality and Food Safety Manager in absence.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Technology, preferably with specialisation in food safety
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a QA or food safety environment
- Strong quality mindset and good knowledge about HACCP and risk assessment
- Challenged by working in a professional, dynamic and international organisation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
- Personal skills: results oriented, hands on, entrepreneurial, independent, flexible and helicopter view
